we would be living in lake havasu city but there is a place called donkey acres right next to it or in it practically that is divided by a street and they allow chickens and farm animals. i would have to wait till we had enough money saved up to rent somewhere over there though so it would be a while.

Well Rags is starting to hiss at my son and his friends now when they walk by! Bella must be getting close to heat? laying time cuz he doesn't do that to them normally! It's been in the minus degree's for us and we hardly have a foot of snow. This is not a normal winter for us. We should have a few feet by now, the cold weather is normal but I can still hate it! I haven't been out to see the pets cuz it's just to cold. It hurts to breath!
I'm thinking of getting a few Australorp's come spring. I hear they are very good layers, approx. 5 a week! I miss my Rhode Island Reds, they laided 24/7 never missing a day! But there very aggressive and they were good but I like my girls that don't try taking my fingers w/ the treats they wanted everything so bad! LOL
I can't wait to get outside! It's so icy outside and cold! The days are getting longer!

well tomorrow i leave for az. hopefully we make it and find jobs and hopefully my fiance can get his teaching certificate soon and then we can move to somewhere else in az. anyone know where you are allowed to have chickens in az?

Our days are getting longer! We have had 4 days in the high 30 degree far. We should be changing to metric like the rest of the world someday. I hope it happens after I'm gone as I'm not in the mood to learn much more new! It's hard enough keeping up w/ all the tecnical stuff! LOL
I'm still waiting for my seb. Goose to start laying eggs. They say they start laying come Feburary! This is her first season! Wish us luck! Fingers crossed!

Nobody here but us chickens! How are you? I haven't spoken with you in a long time! I've been watching my new sebastopols geese nest for her first eggs! I'm hoping to get them in the bator!
So...what are you up to? Is there anyone out there you know that might have a diaper pattern for a goose? Ranging from baby to adult? I know it's a strange and large request but I would be truely grateful for one (or more because of the sizes )

i made it to az. so the good news is that i made it but the bad news is i made it without my luggage. the airport had lost them and took them off one if the planes that we were on and they ended up on a different plane. today i got mine but my fiances is still on the way here. for some reason his bag went from vegas to tenessee to their main headquarters i do not understand why. we called them today and they said it is still coming to our house. hopefully it gets here tomorrow. it has all his clothes in it.

i miss my sheep and chickens i feel so bored now without them.

how is everyone else doing?
