Crossing Isa Browns to Heritage breeds

I hatched out 12 eggs that had been fertilized by my American Bresse rooster with my ISA Brown hens. This was pure accidental but seems to be a great mistake.! 11 eggs hatched out, 8 of which show very early signs of a heavy meat bird. All 8 kept the colorings of the American Bresse however a few have a few black spots or dark red spots here and there. They all are very nice looking birds. I decided to keep them instead of culling for nothing else but my freezer. Both of these birds lay early at about 4 months (16 weeks).

Any chicken has a limited number of eggs they can lay, some like isa browns lays all their eggs in just 2 years, breeds that only lay 100 eggs per year will lay for much longer (6-8 years).
Crossing isas with heritage breeds, trying to obtain a bird that lays 90% instead of 100% will only prolong its lifespan by 10% which honestly I don't see the usefulness of, other than having fun with genetics.

I was looking more in the line of meat birds. I know the ISA Brown is a heavy type bird and the American Bresse is a beautiful meat bird if fed right. I don't keep hens after the age of two, I sell them or take them to the market to swap or sell. feeding all organic is just another plus for the eggs ( no matter how many they lay).
