Crossing white chinese gander with brown chinese goose will give me what?

Learn something new everyday. I will for sure keep some off spring then. Does this also mean that the 2nd generation offspring will be sex link also?? Or is it just the 1st generation?

Thanks that was an interesting thread!

I have been searching for pics of brown x white chinese crosses but i didnt find many. I guess ill just wait to see my own grow up

There's a picture on that thread of the same cross but with an African. Chinese will be same but different size abductions type.

Hmm. I'm not a science -head and all this genetics stuff has my head spinning. So you're saying that my white gander and my brown goose will produce grey-splash ganders and white (female) geese? I would think it would be the other way 'round. Thanks.

Its because the genes responsible for the change are only carried on the male sex chromosome Z. A male has a pair whereas a female has only one.

Cool. Well, I've got a few eggs in the bator now; we'll see what's what in 30 days. Do you recommend misting starting on day 6? How many times/day?

Would a 8 month old chinese gander mate with a two year old emden goose ?? Grt back to me as soon as possible
