He has done it every morning around 7:30ish.Its kinda funny because he tries hard to get it out, stretching his neck and wings! He almost looke like he is trying to throw up!
Exactly! The first time you hear it, you run over to make sure he's not choking on crumbles.

We've always found (at least in the Marans we've had) the earliest crowers seem to be 'manly' man alpha male types (not sure about other breeds). I've heard that the stretching/ flapping of wings is somewhat considered a manly thing to do also- like a man beating fists on his chest. King of the jungle, etc...
You can see the 'tude already in this little guy. lol He was a prolific early crower by two weeks.
He grew up refining his craft.
