One of our BP hens is starting to look more rooster than hen . About how old are roosters when they begin to crow? My pullets are all about 13 wks old.

I have a roo the let out his first (very silly and sorry sounding) crow at 5 weeks. Another didn't start until 11 weeks old, but I have heard people say their boys didn't start until much later.

one of our cockerels started crowing at 14 weeks, he only did it for one day because the head roo didn't let him.
He sounded like an old Ford Model T horn. It was very funny.
