Crows Danger To Bantams?

My neighbor has free-range bantams and she never mentioned crows bothering them. We have a large resident population of crows.

I LOVE "my" crows -- they don't bother the bantams or the chickens, but they will gang up on a hawk in flight, pick it, harry it, attack it until it leaves the area. If it weren't for "my" crows, I'd probably have fewer chickens.

The crows run the hawks off or at least sound the alarm before the hawk even gets to my yard.

I love the local crows.

The only time crows are a danger is with tiny chicks However watching the mother banty teach the crow what a really bad idea that is can really be entertaining!

We had the crows alert us to a fox prowling in the brush wait for a stray hen to wander by.
