Cruel tricks I like to play on my dog.

This is really bad but this morning he's not getting any cheese in his scrambled eggs. He'll eat them and like em darn it. Then when I leave I'm gonna laugh at him and say "na na na na you can't come with me. you're a dumb doggy". Let's see if he gets over that.

I tell my two Welsh corgis all the time that if they don't clean up their act, I'm going to trade them both for a REAL dog with a tail.

I love to sneak up on my dogs when they are outside being lazy in the middle of the day - completely asleep and dead to the world...I sneak up on them and then clap my hands or do a deep faux 'bark' and I enjoy watching them about jump out of their skins and even roll over themselves trying to get up and 'attack'

then they see me and are like 'oh man its just you mom'

I always am telling my DD's dog Gypsy a chow/shepherd mix I'm going to put her on ridlin because she's completely nuts

Cedar has a "kong" toy, essentially a rubber ball type tube that you put treats in for them to try to get out. I put brausweiger paste (liver paste is his very favorite thing) in the bottom and freeze it solid, then add a layer of water/lettuce at the top. He hates lettuce, but must endure to get to his favorite thing. Takes him hours while I am at work.

When it's chilly inside, my oldest dog likes to get under the covers to sleep with me .If I'm feeling mean, I won't let her do it.

Ok, I lied. I always let her sleep under the covers.

And I know this will shock you, but........I'm still single!!!!

I'm kind of hoping this is all just joking. I don't know why anyone would think it's fun to tease their dogs-----I think it's kind of sadistic. Especially the people who said they ask their dogs if they have to go out repeatedly and then don't let them out. What if you had to pee or poop really bad and it was up to someone else to decide if they "felt" like letting you go or not? I don't know, but I prefer to have a trust-filled relationship with my dogs-----I would hate it if someone decided to break into my home, and the dogs just decided it would be funny not to protect me or my property.

I do realise that most are just playing with their dogs in a fun, harmless way.......didn't mean to come off as a stick-in-the-mud! I do have fun times with my dogs, just not by teasing them.
