Cuba, yeah, hopefully we can do a trade this fall. The thai are a dark cinnamon wheaten, just like the Cubalayas. Personally, I'm glad I got my mottled cockerel back-what a cool bird!!
Cashdl, I can see how some of your Araucanas do look like tailess Cubas, if you have a 9 pound cleanfaced, long tailed Aruacana, well, that would probably work out fine given enough time, like anything else. I'm just not really clear on all the Aruacana genetics, and most I see are practically bantams. With the right bird, I guess it could be a workable choice-a large oriental will always be best, of course, but if you can't get one of those, you have to work with what you have got. Yours are handsome birds in any case..
