Yes they're mottled.

These are early February hatched cubalaya pullets. They are almost identical in type and size. One weighs 3lbs 2ozs and the other weighs 3lbs and 8ozs

Your Blacks are coming along very well indeed. I have honestly had the most consistent type in my Blacks/Whites.
