Cubalaya Thread For Sharing Pics and Discussing Our Birds

Hi all,
First off, I realize I probably should post this in the auction section, but felt it was too detailed to do so.
I just spent the morning reading a good portion of this thread, y'all have some great insight and beautiful pics. I'm ready to take the Cubalaya plunge after experimenting with just about every breed for the past 5 years, and was wondering if anyone had some suggestions on where to get a started quad+ or chicks. Incubating (and brooding) is tough for me (I live off the grid), but not impossible, tho I live so remote by the time the eggs get to me they're usually fairly scrambled, and the chicks beat up. I'm not into showing tho aiming for the standard is always a priority for me. Also, I'm not totally partial to any specific color (yet).
Alright thanks for reading my long winded post and keep up the great work. Also, I'm in NorCal (Mendo) if there's any local breeders out there.
Cheers.

Zach has great stock and is in California. If you'd gone to the Stockton Show this weekend you could have come away with some great Cubes.

You will not find better stock that Zach's west of the Rockies. And he's a real contender for the best Cubes in the States. If you are seriously interested in this breed, then listen to everything he tells you about raising and breeding them. If he doesn't have any extras right now, and many of us don't, then he will have by May or June.
