Those are really nice. Are the two hens to the right pyles or is it the camera? I have one pyle hen with a similar blush. I don't have any true whites and I'm tempted to add them to the flock. I've been building up my blacks as of late. Not intentionally - that's just the bulk of what seemed to hatch out this year.

Welcome back.

Beautiful birds, Cuba. It always surprises me how colorful the blacks are when the sun hits them. Each feather has a rainbow hidden away inside.

Out of curiosity, is there something interesting in the black's background? The comb looks larger in the picture than what I am used to seeing.

They were recreated blacks from doc Everett. I added a birchen cubalaya from my flock and a 7/8 cubalaya 1/8 claypole jap from Kentucky

Any colors in particular? I'm a couple of states south of you and may have some started birds available in late summer.

Troyer, I feel like a jerk. I didn't see a notification for your post and never replied back to you. I'll try to get some pictures of my blacks up within the week once weather and time cooperate. I kept back a couple of hens last year that didn't have any leakage and am hoping to do the same this year.
