Bantam. Face should be bright red. This spring it was bright red, I'm not sure why it turned almost Gypsy colored. A picture from April and from now.

That is weird because usually it is the other way around with faces getting lighter with age.

I could have filled ten cages with blacks and ten more cages with my other colors. Maybe next year.

I also showed a bantam Buckeye and Dominique. Dominique is for a d’Anver project and the Buckeye is the last remaining bird from my bantam Buckeyes.
My blue quail d’Anvers got a first and reserve of variety.

Four month old bantam pullet. Her face is darker than I want it to be, but that might change when she starts laying eggs.
I had almost lost the lobster tail in my bantams, this pullet has a great tail.
