Cuckoo pekin roo or hen

100% cockerel. I have pekins and that is no girl.
I bought him as purebred and saw both parents which were both excellent quality. But he doesn’t seem like true pekin. What do you think? The breeder only had Pekins all free ranging probably about 80 all up, with fenced off area to keep various colours. A pic of someone’s pekin of same age may help. Thanks

He's not show quality, that's for sure, but he's probably purebred. I wouldn't be surprised if this bird was a barred pekin crossed with some other color variety, though-- his color is washed out and the barring is messy.

Still no crow! However makes lovely soft pekin chirps when you’re holding and petting. I have 3 purebred hens doesn’t look the same however sounds the same. No aggression loves being spoilt comes for cuddles. Adorable nature. Had pekin Roos before and I couldn’t catch them and they crowed a lot by this age. Maybe hermaphrodite. My leghorn rooster has been doing his mating dance next to this Pekins house. The pekin is separate as I only got him/her last weekend. What’s going on? Haha bloody chickens.
