Any silkie experts know what I would get if I bred the following:

Paint Rooster to Cuckoo Hen
Black Split to Paint Rooster to Cuckoo Hen

Paint rooster to cuckoo hen =
Around 25% black pullets
25% paint pullets
25% SF cuckoo cockerels
25% SF cuckoo paint cockerels

Black rooster to cuckoo hen =
Around 50% black pullets
50% SF cuckoo cockerels

There's no "black split to paints"
A paint is a black bird with one copy of dominate white.
Two copies would make a solid white bird
One copy lets black show in splotches
No copy makes a black bird but it isn't carrying a dominate white gene so its not "split" to paint.

Thanks for the info. That's what I thought. To make cuckoo pullets, I need a cuckoo rooster, right?

Double factor cuckoo will give you all cuckoos
Single factor cuckoo will give you about half and half cuckoo and black
