It was 102 in Florala just while ago.. 'package' delivered to bat rescue.. a little trip around the wetlands park, and lunch at the 'Old Dept' restaurant.. was a pleasant trip!

Well, had a nice rain come through then Mara was standing out next to the pens in back calling and calling.. found 3 hens standing in the driveway near the road, but Starshine and KE were missing.. then found a pile of fresh feathers near the waterbucket by the house.. KE's last breath while getting a drink and poof! Starshine finally came out of the woods next to the driveway.
No alerts, no nothing today... just POOF and he was gone. Now I have 4 hens casing the joint calling and calling for the lil squirt. Mara is still hiding out in their pen.

RIP Lil Red Rooster.

I am so sorry to hear this! RIP Lil Red Rooster. Do you free range your chickens or did they get out somehow?
