Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Good morming! Thanks for the coffee @BY Bob

That explains it! If I didn't have chickens, i might be up all night and sleep all day too. 😳 I have always been a night owl. But, I like to be out to see chickens at dawn, so I try to make myself go to sleep at a decent hour. It doesn't usually work so I'm just living in a state of sleep deprivation.
I am a night owl too! :highfive:

The busier I am the better I sleep and the better my attitude. The past two days I pretty much sat on my butt because of the lousy weather and was bordering on depression. Took care of that today. :wee
I'm just like that. I get very happy after a good productive day of work and borderline depressed when I don't do much of anything.
I should sleep well today after shoveling out Dad's house and finishing mine this morning. I wish I'd just finished it last night because the snow froze to the slush underneath and the shovel kept binding up.

I have to achieve tangible results. Mental accomplishments just don't get me there. I like to look over my shoulder and say, "Look at what I've done." For me if it is physical (I can see, hear, feel, taste it) it's real. If it's mental or emotional I question the reality. :idunno
I like doing things that achieve both tangible results and are mentally engaging. One without the other isn't as satisfying. Like when I planned the electrical system for the detached garage, and then worked with my dad to implement it. It runs things every day, like my chicken coop and my pond. That was a satisfying project.

I actually love shoveling snow because I can see an instant result. I NEED that to keep going.

Unfortunately it doesn't bother me to have all the dishes piled up in the sink. I just pull out paper plates and plastic utensils(from $ tree).

Have twin kitchen sinks - very shallow. I think there was meant to be a dishwasher underneath. But don't have one.

Last time was son visited, he got fed up with the sink piled up, he just threw the dirty stuff back in the drawers. Bet he thinks I didn't notice. I SURELY DID :rant

BTW I tried Red Bull when I was walking great distances. It didn't help at all. As soon as I drank it, had to use a bathroom. I had to duck into a 7-11 and manager was plenty mad I didn't buy anything.

Luckily I also had big, thick evergreen trees to duck behind. It was funny- one time the branches snatched my sun hat off my head. I went nuts looking for it later. Then decided to retrace my steps. Sure enough I found my sun hat hanging on a branch. It was quite happy reunion.
