They're really a neat fruit! I love trying unusual fruits but I do often have to go to some random places to find them. I actually got a box of weird fruits shipped to me once, purely out of curiosity and there is a fruit called a mamey sapote and I swear it tastes kind of like pumpkin pie right out of the fruit!

They have that weird spiky look to them but they're weirdly not pokey to the touch and the inside kind of reminds me of an eyeball in texture but it does taste good and sweet, lol. I'm like 95% sure the prickly balls in the fruit picture are the casing to chestnuts though because there are chestnuts right next to them in the picture.

Mmmm, chestnuts! We love to get them at Christmas time. No way to roast them on an open fire here, we put them in a bit of water & nuke them. Then peel off the outer skin (burning our fingers always!) and dip them in melted butter. A real treat!

Ok, I get it...you were joking about hating cream cheese. Everyone knows cheesecake is the dessert of the gods. And butter on bagels? Blasphemy!

(Although have to agree with you on hot wings dipped in anything, I can't stand them in any form.)
