Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I'd love to have an orchard some day! In previous houses I've lived in, I've planted apple trees (and then moved) and limes, lemons & grapefruit (and then moved). One of these days I'll have to stay put long enough to get actual fruit!
We had orange trees and grapefruit trees in FL. In TN we had loads of apple trees, and I planted a pear tree( got one pear before we moved) . Here we have tons of paw paw trees and black walnuts and horse chestnuts. I have planted pear, apple, pecan , and plum trees here. I have a nectarine tree to plant. My peach tree died, and one of the pecan trees. I also planted blueberries, blackberries, and strawberries.

I'm hoping to get some fruit trees planted this year. A couple apple & a pear or 2. Also thinking about a cherry bush. That'd be so much easier to pick than from a tree.

I have tons of wild raspberries & saskatoon trees.

I'm hoping to get a honey producer to set up some hives. The deal around here is in exchange you get a free, unlimited supply of honey.

We have a very small orchard, 3 apple, 2 pear, 1 cherry, 1 plum, and a male and female Russian Kiwi. For berries, we have blueberries, raspberries, black berries, and marion berries. They are all in the chicken run, so in the summer the chickens get any fruit that falls and all the low growing berries. I also pick a few berries and give them to them every day when they are in season. It really works for us. The chickens provide fertilizer and have a lot of space to roam.

Yes, it has been a while! I'm doing pretty good. Impatiently waiting for spring to show up around here :p All of the animals seem to be enjoying our mild winter, though.

How are you doing?
I'm doing very well!

Anxiously awaiting spring as well! I just got a whole bunch of seed starting supplies. Once my girls start laying I'll be firing up the incubator.
