A girl can dream, lol. I need to clean the coop when it starts to let up. I've let it go much longer than I normally would because of all the rain.

You must have a nice big coop. These hutches I have need cleaning every day in the rain because they spend more time inside. I can't wait to have a large walk in coop!!!

I have been working on the run again.

Last night one of the hens actually slept in Pippi's coop! Yay! 5 hens have been squeezing into Lucy's 4 hen coop, which usually only holds her and Girlie Girl. Well, Victoria was pacing the fence line trying to find a way back to her old big coop and Pippi was trying to escort her into his. Eventually she went in. That's progress!

I don't really want any of the girls to move into Mad's coop, because he is in the little prefab. His girls have the big coop, so I'd like him to move in with them. But, he is still sleeping alone in his little coop. He ends every day with big protests. He either doesn't want to go to bed, or he doesn't want to go alone. But, then why not join the girls?

Ah...who can know the mind of a chicken? We can only observe and surmise.

Yes! I have a 7'x7' coop for only 12 hens at the moment. They're still mess monsters though. lol
