Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

I have silky with a floor other two do not have one prefer not but as you start build
bury the hardware cloth along the walls to prevent predators
You mean the walls of the coop? Why would I need to do that? We will either have buried HW cloth or a HW cloth skirt around the run.

Good morning everybody! Thanks for the coffee Sour! I took the last cup, but made a fresh pot!

Yay, more coffee! I was out getting the flock started on their day and it was snowing again. But it's supposed to get up to 40* today so hopefully we won't see more of it (at least for now). Brr, it was cold out there!

I feel your pain! I didn't want to go out this morning either. It's 31, but the waters weren't frozen, so as usual I can't believe the weather man or my thermostat. But, they got their treats and they are happy.

I might have another sick hen. Not sure yet. She was fluffed up under one of the shelters and has been doing that from time to time lately. If I give her treats, or walk up to her, she seems lively enough. She might not like the cold. They just went through Corid treatment because of Queen Victoria, and are on vitamins now. Hoping that will shore her up some. May have another one in sick bay today. I'll be watching her. :(

I'll keep my fingers crossed for your girls Val! :fl
