We all have so much time on our hands now, but of course that means we have nothing to talk about.

I'm headin gout to visit the chickens. We're having a lull in the rain for the moment. Have to take advantage of it.

Thanks Deb! I looked at the chicks in TSC, they had bantams but they didn't look happy. I wore my home made mask in every store I went in.

It's a very misty morning here. I think I'll leave the hens locked up in their run until it clears. It makes things too easy for birds of prey to just swoop in.

It's snowing here this morning but it probably won't amount to anything that lasts (I hope ).

Good morning everybody! Thanks for the coffee Sour. Made a fresh pot.

We put up netting, Andrea, to keep the BOPs away from our chickens. It has worked quite well.

We were going to put up netting but ended up putting in a poultry fence to keep them in the area of the yard with a lot of trees and brush to hid under. We haven't lost one since doing that but I'm still cautious because I know it's not foolproof.

Queen Bee is back in sick bay. She was just laying in the wet grass instead of coming for treats this morning, and panting a little. Back on aspirin and other TLC here. Poor girl. Sure wish I could get a diagnosis for her, but there is nowhere to go for that here, so it is a bit of shooting in the dark. Will continue to do what seems to be working.
