DH will be coming home today so all those things I've been putting off all week will get done before he gets here. :lol: Plus, I have a loaf of bread rising and am going to make a pot of ham & potato soup.

That's great news about your DH!

Queenie is doing about the same. She keeps going up and down in her demeanor. She is off the Corid and on to probiotics now. I sure wanted to allow her out by now, but I don't dare. She is eating and drinking, so that's good news.

Surly is broody and has gathered up 5 eggs. Everyone except Lucy has been moved out of her coop and run. Lucy doesn't lay eggs, so I know she wont be gathering more. I don't really care how many she has, but I don't want to incubate abandoned eggs on day 22 or 23. :lol:

Hello Debby! I've been missing all the action! We had a bit of a real life scare over here and then chicks started hatching because they aren't going to wait just because there is life stuff happening. lol

I may keep a couple and put them under my broody hen! They were all for a friend but I'm going to raise them for a couple of weeks because we're 100% quarantining ourselves as a precaution. We had a bit of a scare over here with my husband. I think we're in the clear and it was something else but I don't want to add to the problem. There are enough irresponsible sick people going out and not caring about infecting others because they're already sick...
