Not trying to convince you Penny. It's a personal choice. The question was how long to use it and I gave my advice on that. I use it and feel good about it.

) It is indeed a great weekend!What a great surprise! How about Susan B Anthony? I mean, if you name them Abe or GW, you might be encouraging them to be roosters.So I made the move yesterday. Combined all the silkies together, only put 2 roosters in the coop though, didn't want to put all 6 in there with only 8 hens. The other boys got their own apartments for now until I can get a bachelor pen made. The boys seemed to be getting along ok last night, each kinda just kept to their own corner. The coop is pretty big so they both have enough room to move around. Also had 5 new chickee babies in the incubator this morning when I left for work. They are my memorial day babies.
A quick search of Women's Suffrage Leaders brings some interesting names, that now I want to go read about.
