I understand about the roosters, Cap. I have one that is on his own now because he was doing too much damage to the girls. I will probably have more in the young chicks. No one in this neck of the woods wants a rooster, or cockerel, so I may have to bite the bullet and send them to freezer camp. That's hard for me, but I can't accommodate a bunch of them. I'll be keeping Pippi and probably Louie Louie too. Waiting to see how he turns out. He is at the bottom of the pecking order right now, and pretty skittish. But he is only a few months old, so we shall see. He sure is getting pretty.

Penny have you used the cones and plucker yet or will this be your first time?

It will be the first time I use them trying to figure logistics of it all I have four in the main coop .. should be simple let then bleed out in the cone .. no mess think BF bought a couple big garbage cans.. Hold them in the bag run the plucker
