Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

How is everyone's chickens, dogs, cattle and other animals today? My chickens are into a nice easy routine right now. The cats are, well they are cats and full of themselves. It's why I love them so much. And the dog is having a nice outing with dad! So all is well at the home front.

I'm trying to get the week's menu together so I can send DH a list before he gets to the store. :D

Mine are good!! Luna is sleeping on the arm of the couch next to me right now. :love the chickens mostly stayed inside today because it’s pretty cold and damp and they’re wimps lol didn’t even rain except maybe this morning but they weren’t having it

Bella had a 45 minute run in the fields with her new friend this morning.
She continues to try to wear down the cat into loving her back.

Mogwai it's starting to lighten up with all the hissing and growing. All it nets her is a Doberman kiss!

:lau aww that’s awesome.

You should!! They’re delicious!! Though yours sounds good too and I love soup! Some of their salads are good too. You should branch out. :D

They are!! I just had tuna salad with tortilla chips and a cranberry bagel today lol
I should branch out, but we don't go out to eat very often and on the rare occasion we find ourselves at Panera, I go to my old favorite. :D Everything is so far away here that we rarely would just decide to drive somewhere to go have dinner, unless it's one local places which are still 20 min away and just okay. So, if we are already out and about, we might stop somewhere.

Guess we're just old fuddy duddies. : :lau Also, we usually like our own food better.

No joking. If I were to take the best traits of my first 5 Dobies and put them into one dog, it's Bella. She is a jewel and I'm lucky to have found her to adopt after losing Ben.

Our first Doberman was a rescue as well! I've only ever purchased a puppy once, the rest were all rescues. We've gotten so lucky with rescues, I could swear they know they were saved and are grateful.

Bella is really beautiful. I'm glad you found such a great Dobie. Ruby and Hviti have an uneasy friendship until Hviti all of sudden decides to let Ruby know who's boss. Cats rule, or at least Hviti thinks so.

All six of my Dobies were rescues. And so is the cat! She'll be 18 this June. Still a pistol.

Rescuers are just the best sort of folks. :love Poor discarded animals deserve a chance at a good life. The reward to saving them is great. They do seem to know.
Bella was imported from Serbia by the woman I got her from. You can see she bred her extensively. She had to have a C-section with each pregnancy. Didn't stop the owner. She was going to breed her again after the last one but a ligament let loose in the uterus and she suddenly didn't want Bella any longer. Hmmm. Wonder why.
She came to me very insecure and has made wonderful progress with her confidence over the month I've had her.
