Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

You would think an Alabama vs Auburn game was a reenactment of the civil war at times. So much fun! Fans are fanatical down here. Brother vs Brother, neighbor vs neighbor..
That's the sort of thing that makes games fun to watch. Or so I hear....I don't watch them. Having so much time on my hands is making me rethink that. Might have to become a sports fan.

And a really despicable yankee marries a southerner and stays. :lau I did live in VA for a few years. I almost forgot they are still fighting the civil war there. :gig Or as they call it, the war against northern aggression. :lau
I have no issues with VA, though I grew up in New York.

I'm so proud of my little 'fighter'. She's become a lap baby... Found her near dead 4 mornings ago from an unknown incident.. cold and covered in ants. Look at her now!
Little Fighter is a keeper!!! :love She is adorable and really, really wants to stay with you in your loving care! I can tell. :D

Mmmmmmmmmmmmm, GRITS! If I add the leftovers to the fermented food ration, the chickens love it.
Ok, next on the list.. Who likes cornmeal mush fried? Butter and surple are good on it.
Never tried cornmeal mush, but I love polenta. Anything like that?

yup, made like cream of wheat or cream of rice.. Water, cornmeal, and a bit of salt.. cook stirring constantly until it thickens.. pour in a bread pan and let it cool in the fridge. When it gets' stiff, slice it and fry in butter.. then add maple surple.

Or maybe an egg fried inside of a piece of bread. Mom used to do that.
