That actually sounds really good.yup, made like cream of wheat or cream of rice.. Water, cornmeal, and a bit of salt.. cook stirring constantly until it thickens.. pour in a bread pan and let it cool in the fridge. When it gets' stiff, slice it and fry in butter.. then add maple surple.
I actually made real pancakes for breakfast this morning. Probably not as healthy, but at least from scratch. My recipe is an old one and simple and, in this family's opinion, the best pancakes in the world.
