Good news. I have turned a corner on these shingles and am feeling much better. Still looks pretty bad though.

I've been reading a bunch about this bird flu in Washington. It's a scary thing. My chickens do share water with the wild life, in that they drink river water. We have a river pump and all the water for the grounds comes from that source, but for the house we have well water. It will be easy enough to route some well water to the chickens. I'm so glad I have been made aware of all this via BYC. This is why we should be here.

I agree as BYC is the best to keep us informed.

I finally got to my computer a little later than I wanted.

I have several projects going on in the kitchen.

Shortly will go back to my projects.

I have sewing calling my name one done now to get the others done. These are tank tops I cut strips to use as hem and sleeve hems.

Mo one of 8 year old kitties is not well he is dragging himself think he had a stroke now ... was sure he was not good but watched him a few hours.. Damnit

I'm so sorry to hear that!!!! Your poor kitty!!!!

My leg is where I have shingles. It's getting so much better now.

Good morning everyone! Coffee's on!

I washed all 6 watering stations and gave the chickens nice fresh well water yesterday. But just as I'm saying this I'm remembering there is one inside the coop that normally DH takes care of. Will have to get that one changed out today. It was a chore and I'm glad it's done. Now with the bird netting over the run I'm not very concerned about the bird flu in my flock. What a relief.
