Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Hey you made it girl we have a light dusting of snow
Here too. Had to go out at break of dawn to switch out water for the chickens. It's the only thing I don't like about the freezing temps. I have a couple heated waterers, but none of my older hens will drink out of a nipple.

Gee try no other water they will use them :gig

I guess I leave mine in the house :bun even the silkie teach peeps to use them :lau:clap
I can't put waterers in my coops. They are too small. I was hoping my pullets would teach the hens to use the nipple waterer, but instead they started using the open waterers. When I have my new coop, I'll have water inside in a heated open waterer, and water outside with the nipples. I think they'll get switched over then.

Just in from the great outdoors. 54 F here right now. SMH this is Feb. 3, right ? Mind you I'm not complaining and have great empathy for @N F C .
Good morning! Coffee's hot and fresh. We are having a cold snap here. Had to go out as soon as the sun rose to bring fresh unfrozen water to the chickens. They are not pleased with the dusting of snow we got overnight.

Hi Cap. How goes the building? Have you decided whether to get rid of the turkeys or not?
I have the Mule loaded up, going back at it soon. I think I likely will sell the turkeys. There is just too much to do when I don't feel good, and hubby doesn't help. Most of the quail will be sold too. Need to cut back the feed bills.
How are your critters doing, IM?
