Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

DL, how much more work do you have to do on your dad's place? And how is Miss Bella?
A lot! I'm rewiring two rooms in the basement and all the drywall has to go up and be finished. Then drop ceiling with LED recessed lights, flooring and trim. I'm grindng open wall and floor cracks to prep them for epoxy then Dryloking the walls. I've got trim and paint left in the kitchen, new walls, floors and lighting in the great room, hall and 1/2 bath. Rebuild the deck, dig out and repour the front porch slab, landscape, new roof, new garage doors, clean up electric panel,.....
Bella is great. Getting better daily.

Well, that's a long way from San Diego, so I was a little confused when you said you grew up in San Diego. It's not nice trying to confuse an old lady.

I grew up in Orange County California too! I definitely miss the weather but I prefer the more country living as well.

It's a lot but nothing like the past flips I've done. I didn't take any load bearing walls down or replumb and rewire the entire house, no tile work or installing a new furnace.
I installed the kitchen 2.5 years ago just before Dad died. At least he got to enjoy it for a few months.
