Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Yesterday I got my first 2 eggs of 2020!

They made a delicious Swiss cheese & mushroom omelet for breakfast :D
That's great! Congrats!
Well, got no yard work done but did manage to get a couple of crappy phone camera pics of the escapees.
The hen is more elusive than the rooster, extremely hard to get a decent pic of her. Still can't get over how his tail feathers are in great shape, they are about 6' long!

Yeah, I put feed and water out for them but sometimes they disappear for a couple of days, so I know they are finding stuff to eat on their own, too!
It wasn't planned to let them "free range". Most of the time if they get out they are gone, either predators or they just wander off, never to be seen again.

I remember, you've mentioned them before. It's too bad you can't get them back into the coop and run, but they are quite the independent spirits!! 11 months is a long time to survive on their own.

Probably someone shoots them.
