Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Mama hen is one beautiful bird!

Thank you! She's a little worse for wear right now because she was broody for 2 whole months waiting for chicks. She's proving to be a great broody though! This was her before.

Morning gang here second cup have not had my meds so food has to wait :he
that is my stress:confused: ... The virus has not lept here yet.. The Governor has closed all schools in the state those of us old enough to recall latchkey friends, those raising younger
all over again
haha... I was a latch key kid, we just didn't call it that in those days.

I think it's interesting in the small communities in WA. In ours, the IGA is completely stocked. In fact, they are having a big truckload meat sale right now. Ground beef for $2.50/lb and Tri Tips for $5/lb. They have toilet paper on hand. :D That's the benefit to patronizing local grocers; they are there for us when the chips are down. If they couldn't get large truckloads of meats, they would be able to supply us locally.

We certainly are taking precautions because we are both high risk, but not feeling very exposed at the moment.

Val, I hope Queenie isn't sliding backwards :fl
Thanks! She is looking much better this morning. I'm watching her.
Good morning "Peeps" I need a stiff cup of anything today. Cluck number 2 died in my arms this morning. 2 more show signs of coughing and wheezing also. FYI. Keep practicing good bio security, somehow my original flock was exposed, and I am afraid!
Oh no! I'm so sorry about your chickens! I hope they get well soon!!! Hope you are posting this in the ER section and getting help from the experts there.

Sorry you're having health issues with your flock, and sorry for the losses.
