Wow. Seems to me those folks would be the ones that need the help the most. That's ugly.

The sad reality is that beds are limited and the elderly or folks with pre existing conditions are the least likely to survive. Doesn't make it any less harsh.
@007Sean I noticed the same shortages in the local TSC yesterday. I have perhaps a month worth of feed on hand. People 'feed' we have more than that.

I was shocked to see what was happening in HD and wally here now Fullers Grocery was
busy but no worse than normal there was a few more lanes open all of them but normally just 3 crud have tio go outside clean some coops take the top off the old... Ah crap I will do photos before and after stop speckled from roosting there at night

I bought 5 bags of food but that is normal

I don't buy my feed there except for white sunflower hearts (my birds love'em). I have my feed custom milled....hope it doesn't get that far outta hand and you have shortages at custom mills. I'm still good for about 2 months.

Mine is a very small mill here so ya same boat my birds would revolt to get

The stores here have changed their hours of operation due to the riot mentality that is taking place to prevent runs on certain items like toilet paper....those stores that were open 24 hrs are now opening at 8am and closing at 11pm. HEB, the biggest grocery chain store in South Texas is now only open from 8am to 8pm, they use to open at 6am and close at 12am
I use to go shopping after I got off work, hardly anybody in the store at 6 in the morning but now I'll just have to juggle my schedule around it. hoarders!!!!

I live near a small town "my opinion 40.000" We are also out of Toilet paper, due to the gossip a small town can attract. Everyone is so full of poop!!!
