Thanks! Really I like having him here.Congratulations on his retirement!
True lol. I have, well I don't know the brand but I have one and like it. I don't use my oven much in summer and that little fryer is handy.I have the Emeril Lagasse Air Fryer, which is a little different. But I don't find it easier than the oven. How long it takes to cook isn't the issue, it's how long it takes to prep for it.![]()
If you're not working that's one thing. What's it like in summer when you're busy? The same? When DH is gone I'm a grazer too, a bowl of popcorn or cheese & crackers and I'm good. But when he's here, he's working all day and I'm home. Just makes sense I make a meal for both of us. Besides, I like cooking (it's the washing up I get tired of).
Looks like a great way to start the day Riv!

I like mine, but I don't know that I'd pay for one (I got it with points for performance at work). I've made large batches of onion rings and chicken strips from scratch, then put them in the freezer. It's very convenient for reheating stuff like that quickly without heating up the whole house with the oven.I've never tried an air fryer before. Do they work well?
That's really good advice. Thanks. We don't have many ticks or fleas here, but I always watch for them.Tick season is in full swing here.. removed this one from my cat yesterday
Helpful tip:
The tick had already embedded in her neck so I tried the hot needle trick, hoping it would back out but no luck. I ended up calling the vet for tips. They suggested putting rubbing alcohol on and around the area where the tick was embedded and it worked like magic! It took a good minute and a couple tries but it ended up backing out.

We live in the woods, so I have to check the dogs daily. And myself. I hate ticks! That's really good advice. Thanks. We don't have many ticks or fleas here, but I always watch for them.
