Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Mine started at 4:30 this morning. :rolleyes: No sunrise here at all today.
Here, I will give you some sunshine. Her name is "Sunshine":

Morning here not that far from Val. Took a pork loin out cook till falling apart then add stubbs bar b cue .. Have that for dinner on rolls.

yum...pulled pork sandwiches. In the south they put Cole slaw on the sandwiches, BBQ sauce optional. So good!
 
I would never have thought about putting cole slaw on a sandwich at all until I moved to VA. Now I can't imagine having it either way.

Here's an unusual use for cole slaw too. In a vegetarian restaurant in FL they serve carrot dogs. They were so good I had to figure out how to make them at home. Grill a carrot until done, but still firm. Put it on a hot dog bun with cole slaw and mustard. Sounds awful, but it's not. The secret is in the texture of the carrot. It cannot be too raw, but it definitely cannot be soft. I make Bobby Flay's cole slaw because it's not sweet. Here is a link to that recipe.
