High of 82 here today. Yesterday must have been just as hot. A bit too hot for working in my garden, but I'm getting it done.

Should start raining again by tomorrow, I think. Of course, I haven't looked for a couple days, so I may be wrong.

Just waiting for the flowers to come up. Growing herbs and tomatoes on the deck this year. Clearing the veggie garden beds to treat them with copper. Trying to get a stubborn fungus out of there.

Thank you all for your kind words All the other chicks seem happy and healthy this morning! Hoping to get some individual pictures of them later today. It's a bit gloomy and chilly out right now.

Debby, its suppose to reach 80 here today as well. 86 tomorrow I'm glad you are finally getting the warm temperatures!

Cant wait to see pictures of your flowers, Val! My marigold starts are getting rather big now. Herb starts are growing well too. Thinking of transplanting those into bigger containers today. Do the tomatoes grow well for you? My dad used to always grow tomatoes and they were delicious!
