Here's an update for anyone who wants to know:

I had my oncologist visit yesterday. Chemo for a minimum of 3 years, probably 10 years, and maybe life. CT Scans every 6 months. That's quite a sentence. But, honestly, I just feel like I'm in such good hands. This oncologist is the foremost expert on my particular type of tumor and people come to see him from states all over, west of the Mississippi. That is pretty comforting. He's been treating them for 22 years.

I can do this through Christ who strengthens me!

The chemo will not be the kind that makes me lose my hair, and they have medications to mitigate nausea, swelling, and any other symptom that pops up. Modern medicine is pretty amazing.

Wow Val, that seems like a tough row to hoe. I'm happy you're in good hands though and you've got a great outlook on it. :hugs

Thanks for the prayers, Featherhead. And please help yourself to coffee. Debby really does make the best coffee and tea! There's a bowl of fruit on the counter too. :D

My rooster woke me up too this morning. I just don't know which one. I have THREE now. :oops: And I get too attached to them. What to do...what to do... :wee
