For some reason band music made my mind flip to this:

Did you ever see The Music Man with Robert Preston ages and ages ago? My mom took me to see it at a theater when I was a little kid, I still remember some of the songs.

Ah thanks. I think listening is just the best gift! I got the call today. I start the poison in the morning.

I feel that you will get through this like a pro.

You might and might not have the side effects of the chemo, as this is a different type. The way you were talking about the medication being given for a prolonged period of time may make a difference in the side effects.

I think you're right. Took my first dose this morning. Nothing so far. A little anticlimactic. But, a very welcome surprise!!! Since I have to be on this for probably 10 years, the reaction Penny describes would be pretty harsh.

I made a fresh pot of coffee and found a tea bag assortment if anyone would care for something. It's been so warm here for the past couple (or more?) weeks, at today's temp of 69* I'm chilly. (And I'm wearing a sweatshirt.)
