Pick a nice size ginger root, peel and chop into small pieces. Drop into about a pint and half of hot water, I add several cloves to fight bacteria. At least a couple of teaspoons of turmeric or morethen add a little chilli I add about a teaspoon, you may want to start off with a tiny amount. Boil for at least 20 minutes, I usually add more ingredients &water when I've drunk a cup or two, cover and use it again. It really helps my pain and breathing.
When you say chili, do you mean chili powder?
