Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

My condolences to you and your husband. Maybe she was waiting for him to come see her.
Like my grandmother.. I got the call, drove over to Naples as quick as I could... Dad said she probably wouldn't recognize me.. But she called my name the moment I entered the room. I stayed as long as I could and had to drive home for work... She quietly passed just hours later.
I'll share one memory of her with ya'll. My grandma's hands:

At this point, grandma had been placed in Hospice, but after a visit by a couple of floor mops my girl had had, grandma was moved to a nursing home and lived another year.

Good morning everyone! Raining like crazy here this morning, so makes for a nice leisure morning, sipping good coffee. Made a fresh pot for the anyone who wants to join me at this late hour.

Thank you to everyone for your sympathy, empathy and caring thoughts yesterday. DH is doing well with it. No one wanted her to live in all that pain, including her. So, it's a blessing, but of course sad to those of us who loved her.

Tough to face loosing I will join you in the cup Val
Really could use another Rain here also
If it's not raining where you are now, it will be. It is heading up the river. I actually see a spot of blue sky coming a bit down the river, so I'm going to run out and take care of chickens because the forecast is rain all day.
