Morning all! Coffee's on.

Yes, another busy Fall day. The sun is shining, it's cool and crisp, so a perfect day to get things done outside.

Goodmorning everyone. Hope you're all doing well. Woke up to what they say is a tenth of an inch of frozen precip. Got down to 28 degrees but gonna hang in the lower 30's through out the day. They said it's the earliest measurable frozen precipitation ever for Abilene. Guess there's always a first.

I wish it were cool here! It's jumped back up into the 80s here today.

We had 70s, and sunshine! Chalk up another lovely day. I cleaned out 2 coops, and moved some birds around. Got more work done on the rabbit cage rehab. No internet all afternoon and evening.

Good morning everyone! Coffee's on!!! Making sunrise sandwiches. Any takers?

We pulled a fast one on the chicks last night. They have been reluctant to get up on the roosts with the big birds, so we went out after dark and cleared one of the roosts and put them up there. Then we turned the light out and left. I'll find out if it worked when I go to clean the coop today. No more chicks hiding in nesting boxes at night!!! Time to grow up a little.

Update: I just went out to open the coop and the littles were still on the roost!!!

Sorry I'm so late, I was out cleaning out the coop with my helper. Took everything out of the coop and sprayed it down. let them free range for about two hours. closed door to the coop until it dries. The chickens are in their run.
