Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Yay!! I’m so happy you’re inspired! I haven’t had to replant artichokes, mine come back each year so plan to have a dedicated place for them once you plant. Gardening has definitely been a learning experience, particularly here in AZ. We don’t get rain or much in the way of natural things to compost so I’ve been working on it with mixed success for many years. That’s half the fun though.

Anyway, I hope today is a good for you. Back to work for me.
Wow, that great news about the artichokes. I'll look them up for our zone and see if they are possible. I tried starting an asparagus patch a couple years ago, but it didn't come up. Will have to do more research on that. I've ordered a couple sustainable gardening books. They should be here soon and I'm sure they will have tips for me.

Good luck with your garden this year. We'll have to compare notes as we go along.

Good luck to you as well. I feel like a lot of it is luck, but we definitely learn by doing.

Hi @Ladies-Eight. Hope your day went well. I sure feel your pain. Takes a lot of time for us when we have to go run errands in town.

@ValerieJ

All of our specialist physicians are located in Jacksonville which is over an hour away. It's really alright as we have some of the best physicians.

Honestly, I get it. My oncologist is in Portland. OHSU is there too. That's over 80 miles from here, and with Portland traffic takes 1 1/2 to 2 hrs.

BTW, what town are you in? We lived in Mandarin for three years when DH was stationed in Jacksonville. So that is just probably 10 miles from Jacksonville as I recall.

I live in Putnam County. The city is Hollister if you can call it a city.
