Really sounds good. Wish I could muster up the gumption to cook like that.Good morning everybody! Just brewed a fresh pot if anyone is interested.
I cooked for 7 hours yesterday!!! Made, chicken cacciatore, coq au vin, chicken pot pie, burritos and a big pot of soup. It's called investment cooking for those days that time doesn't permit, or I just don't feel like cooking. It's all in the freezer.
I do the same with stuffed cabbage or peppers - generally making 6-8 meals worth. With stew, pot roast, and chicken paprikas I generally make 2 or 3 meals worth.Good morning everybody! Just brewed a fresh pot if anyone is interested.

It's nice on long days to have a nearly ready meal, isn't it?I have been doing the same thing.
I made my garden skillet this week and froze 6 meals.
All I have to do is add the peas and green onions.
Last month I made stroganoff, taco meat, and sloppy joes.
