Cup o' Joe and Tea Too

Good morning everybody! Just brewed a fresh pot if anyone is interested.

I cooked for 7 hours yesterday!!! Made, chicken cacciatore, coq au vin, chicken pot pie, burritos and a big pot of soup. It's called investment cooking for those days that time doesn't permit, or I just don't feel like cooking. It's all in the freezer.

Really sounds good. Wish I could muster up the gumption to cook like that.

I do the same with stuffed cabbage or peppers - generally making 6-8 meals worth. With stew, pot roast, and chicken paprikas I generally make 2 or 3 meals worth.

I do the same, eat some freeze some. But this was several meals of each selection. My freezer is full of good things right now. I just need to cook on the fish and meat days. Chicken is taken care of for a while.

George I love cabbage rolls! I make a lot of those when I make them. Haven't done that for a while. Perhaps that is on the menu this week.

I have been doing the same thing.

I made my garden skillet this week and froze 6 meals.

All I have to do is add the peas and green onions.

Last month I made stroganoff, taco meat, and sloppy joes.

It's nice on long days to have a nearly ready meal, isn't it?

You just don't know, especially when you have to do all the work.

I do all the housework, cook all the meals, go grocery shopping, do the wash, and etc.

I really enjoy sitting in the coop or chicken run with my chickens as I find it very peaceful.

When I don't have to cook the whole meal it is wonderful.

I love to cook, but get tired of doing it all.
