We had 77° here today, i washed 5 of my bantam polish. Now to clean out a coop for them. They are in the garage with a chicken heater to dry them off.

I don't think we ever got above 52 here. Lots of rain today. Some intermittent sunshine. Enough at the right time to go care for the chickens! They were happy about that. But we always go out rain or shine.

Spent yesterday in Jacksonville for my husband's pre-op appointments.

Will be back in Jacksonville tomorrow for his left total knee surgery.

I have a friend who is trying to hand her Dickens village down to her son, piece by piece. She wishes he would take all of it. We are trying to downsize at this stage of life. The only Christmas collection I have is a Christensen Nativity, which was sold as a limited edition and sold one piece per year. Took a long time to collect the whole set. Our kids will not realize how valuable it actually is. Just another nativity to them.
