This basically set yourself up for being attacked.. you didn't teach him to trust you you taught him he doesn't need to respect you.I've tried hard to get there with him, lucky me found out about his real gender when he was about 3 weeks, I've been treating him special ever since. I'm glad I found out earlier, his comb and wattles were a bit if a give away. I hope he's not a jerk, I really like him
People think of fear as a bad thing.. in the chicken world HEALTHY fear equals respect a healthy respect of your space!
The relentless crowing sounds like it's directed AT you.. and this boys is throwing clues that if something doesn't change in his little brain REAL quick then the best way to simmer down his behavior would be in along hot aromatic bath atop the stove.
