There is a Pekin duck that lives on a local canal. She appears to have developed a case of Bumblefoot.
I've become quite attached to her, so I'd like to do everything that I can to help. Most of the treatment options seem to require a fair amount of handling, and I don't believe that she'd let me pick her up, or really touch her feet much. I'd be happy to hire a vet to come out, but I don't think most vets would be willing to entertain said "wild goose (duck) chase".
I was considering purchasing fish amox tablets and trying to get her to eat one. Is that an ill-advised course of action?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Jon
