Is it possible that someone who was knowledgeable could have mistakenly thought that at the age of the youngest picture here on the thread that she really was an americana? I tend to like to believe the best about folks but I think she should have been just sold as a barnyard mix/possible EE even at the younger age.

No - Ameraucanas only come in 8 recognised colours according to the SOP.

Laced isn't one of them.

Well hmph. I'll choose to be happy and have learned a good lesson. Hooray that I still ended up with minty colored eggs.
