A Partidge Rock Rooster over a Barred Rock Hen is a sex-link
There are a ton of crosses that will make a Black sex-link take for instance the young rooster I posted, technically he is a Black sex-link out of a "Red sex-link" Rooster. (B.B. Red over Silver Duckwing)

Robin's brood: Your rooster is gorgeous, I love the lacing. I think its mostly the crow that has my husband thinking wyandotte, I'll have to ask him if there is any other reason.

I wish I had a picture of bob, who looked very similar in the ne ck hackle and barred body. A barred rock was _his_ only option as a father. This guy we got from a neighbor of a friend, who didn't know.

Very interesting post on the sex links, we had thought maybe the sex-linkage would show up in their offspring. This novice has some major reading to still do.
