I just noticed tonight that I have a couple chicks that have their middle toes curling inward. They are getting around just fine....no problems at all. Should I be concerned about this, or just let them be? Thanks for the help!!

If your not planning on showing the birds then I wouldn't worry about them. I have a couple birds with crocked toes and they get along fine.

This is kinda what I was thinking too. They get around just fine and are growing very well. Didn't think I should worry about it, but it's nice to hear it from people with more experience than I. Thanks

Glad I could help a little. If you change your mind you could use a bandaid and make a little shoe try and correct the toe placement. I have tried this in the past and it did not work very well for me but I have read others that it worked for just fine.

I have read that if you can splint their toes while the bones are still soft that it is possible to straighten toes. I have seen band-aids, pipe cleaners, and drinking straws used.
